How to create a web menu in AllButtons
Templates
1. Open AllButtons CSS Menu Builder by clicking on
the AllButtons icon on your desktop or by going to Start/Programs/AllButtons.
- This might take a few seconds depending on your system performance.
2. The first window will list all the available buttons/menus. This window
is called "Templates". To select a button, just "left click" on the button
you want.
3. Now the Preferences menu appears. The preferences menu contains the general
Applet Preferences and the Menu Item Preferences.
Applet Preferences
4. First you must select the type
of menu you want. You can choose between Horizontal and Vertical and between
a Sub menu or a Popup menu.
5. You can also choose the background color, text alignment, and the spacing
between the buttons for your main menu.
6. For the submenu, you can set several different mouse events. If you are
happy with your choices you can view them in the Preview area by moving you
mouse over the buttons.
7. To modify the individual buttons click on the Menu Item Preferences Tab

a) Add or remove buttons in the Control area.
b) Enter your text and target frame and choose your font, font colors, trim,
and font size in the Menu Item area.
c) Choose any mouse events and color for the button. This is done in the
Mouse Event Preferences area.
d) Finally, there is an area where you can control your Sub Menu settings,
such as target frames, labels and URLs.

9. To modify a button, left click on it once, to activate
the button and make it ready for editing. You will also see that that a preview
of it appears in the Menu Item area.
10. Now you can enter your own label, URL, and select the desired target
frame, font and font size. You will also see a feature called Trim.
11. The Trim feature is one of the many strong points of AllButtons. It will
scale the button by adjusting it to the length of your text. Please toggle
it on and off and change the length of your text to see how this feature
works.

the On mouse and Mouse Over events.
13. You can change the font style, font color, and button color. To color
the button, click on the button layer and choose your color.
14. You will also see an option called Visible. This option allows you to
toggle off entire layers. This might be useful to create an impressive Mouse
Over effect.
Control area
15. In the control area you can add or remove buttons to your menu.
16. To add a button, click on the + icon. To position the button, you can
move it to the left of right by clicking on the respective icons.
Sub Menu area
17. In order to add a sub menu to a button, you must
first select the button in the preview area.
18. To add one sub menu button, left click on the + icon in the Sub Menu
area, and you will see a newly created sub button being added to the list.
19. In the Sub Menu area you will also be able to enter the desired labels,
URLs and target frames.
20. To add another sub menu button, click on the + icon again. To position
the sub menu button, you can move it up or down by clicking on the respective
icons.
When you have created your web menu, you can save the final applet. Before
you do that, however, we advise you to save the settings you have painstakingly
entered as a project so you can use it again later.
